Daniela Barbosa serves as General Manager of Decentralized Technologies at the Linux Foundation and Executive Director of LF Decentralized Trust. She has overall strategic and operational responsibility for staff, programs, expansion, and execution of LF Decentralized Trust’s mission. Previously, she spent seven years in leadership roles at Hyperledger Foundation, driving the collaborative development of enterprise-grade blockchain and identity technologies by a global community. She is a leading voice for the power of openly developed decentralized technologies to optimize critical infrastructure for efficiency, privacy, and inclusivity.
Daniela has more than 20 years technology experience growing companies and communities and advancing adoption of business-critical software. She started her career at Dow Jones where she worked with the top global brands across various sectors, including finance, consumer and energy, to architect and deliver enterprise systems, ontologies, and semantic web solutions. In the early 2000s, Daniela became involved in the early web 2.0 community helping to advance the concept of digital identity and data portability as the pathway for people to reuse their data across interoperable applications.

Jennifer Bly is Director of Marketing and Communications at the Linux Foundation where she leads marketing and communications for open source projects like the PyTorch Foundation, High Performance Software Foundation, OpenSSF, OpenIDL, DPDK, and more. She develops marketing strategies that encompass integrated campaigns with an emphasis on public relations, communications, social media engagement, content development, and brand storytelling.
Jennifer has a knack for making complex technical issues easy to understand in ways that motivate people to pay attention and take action. Before joining the Linux Foundation she was the External Relations Manager at the American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN), where she led the outreach team to increase the organization’s visibility in the internet community and develop strategic relationships that build customer growth and engagement.
Jennifer earned her MA in Mass Communication from the University of Florida and Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Within PRSA she is Chair of the Technology Section this year. She is passionate about creating a better internet and enjoys getting the word out about people doing great work in the open source community.

Josh Hershman

Josh Hershman is an industry advisor and attorney focused on making insurance better through technology and innovation. He collaborates with organizations to tackle complex regulatory issues, provide general counsel support, address operational challenges, and find solutions for significant insurance concerns such as matching insurance processes to pace with adjacent industry advances.
Prior to his current role, Josh Hershman served as the Deputy Commissioner and Chief Operating Officer at the Connecticut Insurance Department (CID) from 2019-2022. During his tenure, he prioritized consumer protection by fostering innovation and technology both within and outside the department, as well as ensuring carrier business priorities and enhancement through leveraging the vibrant InsurTech ecosystem.
In addition to his insurance-related work, Josh previously served as the compliance and legal lead for Governor Ned Lamont’s successful gubernatorial campaign. He is also a valued member of the Guilford Fire Commission. Residing in Guilford, Connecticut, Josh shares his life with his wife and three daughters.

Maemalynn “Mae” Meanor is the Director of Marketing and Communications at the Linux Foundation, where she leads integrated marketing programs for several projects including Enabling Linux in Safety Applications (ELISA), CHIPS Alliance, Open 3D Foundation, Open Mainframe, Overture Maps, Zephyr and more. Her efforts have been instrumental in elevating the visibility of these projects within the open source community and the broader technology landscape.
Throughout her 9-year tenure at the Linux Foundation, Mae has played a pivotal role in managing communications for projects focused on IoT, networking, industrial infrastructure, open hardware and more. She has more than two decades of experience in the technology sector and a passion for creating an inclusive workplace environment.

Nathan Southern has over 20 years of experience in the multinational, nonprofit and startup sectors, orchestrating work across the full project life cycle. Most recently, Nathan has spent over three years at the Linux Foundation – first as Project Coordinator and then as Senior Project Coordinator. In this role, Nathan has supported initiatives including openIDL (Insurance Data Link), DPDK (Data Plane Development Kit), The Open Voice Network, and LF AI & Data Foundation. His core specialties are stakeholder management and communications management.
